Financement du festival:

Alt x ≈, c'est un festival pour explorer  
la sexualité hors des clichés (violents ou sucrés) dont on nous a matraqué.e.s.  
Un festival des sexualités alternatives  
et non-normatives, sur les codes  et les représentations encore à créer.
Le festival s'appuiera principalement
sur des ateliers donnés par des artistes durant lesquels les participant.e.s seront pleinement acti.f.ve.s.  Tout commençant donc par la création  d'un espace de respect et de consentement tou.te.s ensemble. 
Et parce que le sexe est un vaste sujet,  nous nous concentrons pour la première édition sur le sexe en solo, avec soi-même.  Comment, lorsqu'on est seul.e, déjà s'accepter, s'amuser, se toucher, se définir, se tripoter, s'ouvrir, s'affirmer et se faire plaisir.

Il est important pour nous que cet espace temporaire que sera le festival, permette
à chacun.e d’être pleinement soi-même !
On ne peut pas être soi-même en étant sans cesse sur ces gardes, crainti.f.ve
d’un éventuel jugement, d’un potentiel comportement agressif, ou d’une incompréhension créant une réaction heurtante.
L’espace-temps d’Alt x ≈ est régi
par la bienveillance, à appliquer à tout moment par un respect et un consentement actif !
Demandez aux personnes avec qui vous voulez interagir si cela leur plaît
et discutez des termes précis dans lesquels cela se fait (distance entre vous, sujet
de la conversation, pronoms de chacun.e, et tant d’autres choses). N’ayez surtout pas peur d’être ridicule, au contraire,
la bienveillance, le respect
et le consentement actif demandent bien plus de courage que le silence !
Nous abordons tous ensemble un sujet sensible, intime, lié à des archétypes
et clichés très ancrés, c’est pourquoi il est indispensable que nous puissions être vulnérables et nous ouvrir à cette exploration.
Plusieurs personnes de notre équipe feront vivre l’espace durant tout le festival (acceuil, visite guidée, bar, organisation, sécurité, etc.), toutes ce personnes ont
été choisies car la bienveillance est une notion majeure pour elles et que nous
leur faisons confiance. N’hésitez pas à aller vers l’une d’entre elles si vous en ressentez le besoin, pour quelque raison que ce soit !
Absolument aucun comportement
de violence, haine, discrimination, humiliation ou visant à créer l’inconfort (physique ou psychique) d’autrui
ne sera toléré !
Nous n’acceptons aucune démonstration
de racisme, homophobie, transphobie, validisme, grossophobie, agisme, etc. !!!

Alt x ≈ is a festival to explore sexuality outside of the cliches (sweet or violent)
that we have been bombarded with.
A festival about and for alternatives
and non-normative sexualities, for and about the codes and representations still
to be created.
The festival will mainly rely on workshops, led by artists, during which the participants will be fully active.
Everything begins then by the creating all together a space of respect and consent.
And because sexe is a vast subject, for our first edition we chose to focus on solo sex, with oneself.
How to, when we are alone, already accept, touch, define, make out, open, affirm, enjoy and have fun with ourself.

It is crucial for us, that this temporary space that the festival will be be allows everyone
to be themself! No one can be themself if they are on their guards all the time, worried
of a potential judgement, an eventual agressive behavior, or a misunderstanding leading to a hurtful reaction.
Alt x ≈ space-time is ruled by benevolence,
to apply at any given moment by active respect and consent! Ask to the persons you would like to interact with if they are happy about it
and negociate the precise terms in which this is done (distance between you, conversation topic, pronouns of each of you, and so many more things). Don’t be scared to be ridiculous, to the contrary, benevolence, respect and consent take much more courage than silence!
We tackle together a sensitive, intimate topic, which is loaded with a lot of archetypes
and cliches, this is why it is absolutely necessary that we can be vulnerable and open up to this exploration. Several team members will bring this space to life during the whole festival (reception, guided tours, bar, organisation, security, etc.), and they all have been chosen because benevolence is an important notion for them and because
we trust them. Do not hesitate to go to them
if you feel the need, for any reason !
Absolutely no behavior of violence, hate, discrimination, humiliation, or aiming
at creating someone’s (physical or psychological) discomfort will be tolerated !
We do not accept any demonstration of racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia, ageism, etc. !!!

Alt x ≈ festival verkent seksualiteit buiten
de clichés (of die nu romantisch zijn of gewelddadig) waarmee we
gebombardeerd worden.
Het is een festival over en voor alternatieve en niet-normatieve seksualiteiten,
een festival voor en over de codes en representaties die nog steeds
gecreëerd worden.
Alt x ≈ festival reikt vooral workshops aan, waaraan de deelneemsters en deelnemers geleid door de artiestes/artiesten actief kunnen deelnemen.
Alles begint dus met het creëren van een respectvolle, consensuele ruimte. En omdat seks zo een breed onderwerp is, kozen
we ervoor om tijdens de eerste editie
te kiezen voor masturbatie, seks met jezelf.
Hoe je, als je alleen bent, jezelf kan accepteren, aanraken, definiëren, openen, bevestigen, van jezelf kan genieten en plezier kan hebben met jezelf.

Het is belangrijk voor ons dat er tijdens het festival ruimte is waarin iedereen zichzelf kan zijn. Als je altijd op je hoede moet zijn, als
je zorgen maakt over negatieve oordelen, agressie, of kwetsende reactie door misverstanden, is het moeilijk om jezelf te zijn.
Daarom staat in de Alt x ≈ tijd en ruimte zachtaardigheid centraal, waarbij altijd actief respect wordt gegeven en toestemming wordt gevraagd. Als je met anderen wilt socialisen, vraag dan of zij dit ook willen en praat met hen over wat zij wel of niet willen.
Dit kan gaan over de fysieke afstand,
het gespreksonderwerp, elkaars voornaamwoorden, enzovoort. Dat kan in het begin een beetje raar voelen, maar dat is oké! Zachtaardigheid, respect en toestemming vragen, vraagt meer moed van ons allemaal dan stilte, maar is zo belangrijk.
Samen leggen we dit gevoelige, intieme onderwerp op tafel. Het is een onderwerp vol met archetypes, stereotypes en clichés, wat het net noodzakelijk maakt om ons open
en kwetsbaar op te stellen wanneer we dit verkennen. Er zullen crewleden aanwezig zijn die deze respectvolle, veilige ruimte tot leven brengen (aan de inkom, bij de gegidste toer, aan de bar, bij de organisatie en de security, enz.). Al deze mensen zijn gekozen omdat ook zij zachtaardigheid, respect en toestemming vragen hoog in het vaandel dragen. Aarzel
niet om hen aan te spreken, voor welke reden dan ook!

Alt x ≈ festival tolereert geen gewelddadig, haatdragend, discriminerend, vernederd gedrag of gedrag dat op een andere manier gericht is op het (fysiek of mentaal) ongemakkelijk maken van andere personen. We aanvaarden geen uitingen van racisme, homofobie, transfobie, albeïsme, fatphobia, ageïsme, enz. !!!
